FAQs
Scholars is a program for AI-related freelance work backed by iMerit, a company with more than 12 years of experience in AI. After you sign up, pending approval on our part, you'll be part of our team of Scholars. You may then start receiving tasks depending on your skillset. Tasks pay hourly.
For now, we ask you please join our waitlist by entering your email on this page. We'll let you know as soon as we open the Scholars platform to the public.
Signing up will be free and open to all individuals of legal age. Once you become a Scholar, you will be assessed for your skills. Passing certain assessments will let us know that you possess a certain skill. We then try to match you with tasks that fit your skillset.
Yes, becoming a Scholar is open to everyone of legal age in their jurisdiction. Please note that if you accept a task requiring a certain number of hours per week, you will be expected to be able to work that amount of hours.
Once you become a Scholar, you'll have the opportunity to apply to work on certain tasks. You may also be contacted by us directly asking you if you'd be available to work on certain tasks. Becoming a Scholar, however, does not provide a guarantee that you will be contacted or accepted to work on tasks.
